Blythe Phase 1

Fisher Project Wins CFT Project of the Year

Fisher Sand & Gravel is proud to announce that Phase 1 of the I-10 Rehabilitation Project — spanning from Desert Center to Blythe, California — has been named Freeway/Expressway Project of the Year by the California Transportation Foundation (CTF).

The honor was presented at the 36th Annual CTF Transportation Awards Gala, held on June 12 in Irvine, CA. This prestigious event recognizes outstanding achievements in transportation across 20 categories and brings together industry leaders from across the state. Fisher’s project was selected over two other nominated freeway projects in this highly competitive category.

Dale Peterson and Josh Alves were on hand to accept the award on behalf of Fisher Sand & Gravel.

This recognition marks the second CTF award for the Blythe Phase 1 project, further solidifying its status as a standout example of quality, safety, and innovation in highway rehabilitation.

Congratulations to the entire team whose hard work, dedication, and attention to detail helped make this project an award-winning success.
